Welcome to my kitchen!

I’m a twentysomething Northern Virginia native and Italophile, but most of all, I’m a storyteller. I love to try new recipes and host dinner parties with my foodie husband and I’m obsessed with crafting meals and wine pairings to tell a story.

Though I’ve lived almost my whole life in Virginia, my Italian-American upbringing led me to attend university on the border of Switzerland and Italy, where I had access to some of the most delicious food in the world. There, I learned Italian, fell in love with authentic Italian culture, and also learned to love vino. While my culinary abilities are self-taught, I am a sommelier at The Hotel Burg in Leesburg, VA and have a level 3 certificate in wine from the WSET.
